Tombola Bingo Starts Sponsorship of Emmerdale.

With the new surge of TV advertisements for bingo sites, it comes as little surprise that some providers of the United Kingdom's favourite past-time are going a step beyond. First off, Wink Bingo sponsored the mega-popular Harry Hill's TV Burp, now it seems that Tombola Bingo want a slice of the pie and have decided to add their name to one of the biggest soap operas on British TV, Emmerdale.

The short advertisements that will feature at the beginning of the show as well as during the advert breaks star actual real-life players from the upcoming site. These soon to be famous players responded to an advert posted by Tombola which asked their players if any of them  wanted to star in these new clips and, after over 700 applications, the lucky few who were successful were invited to our nation's capital to take part in the shoot.

It seems that the players, unsurprisingly had an absolute ball on set. One of the lucky few whose gamer tag is 'Yogib' said, “ I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the filming. What a wonderful day, I really really enjoyed myself and managed to meet a wonderful group of people. Thank you, it will definitely be a day I will always remember.” And surely one we will remember too thanks to the new sponsorship deal. Bingo insiders have predicted that this new trend is unlikely to stop here so, who knows, maybe Mecca sponsoring 'How to look good naked' or Gala lending their name to 'Embarrassing Illnesses'?
